How to bend the Vegmatics Inline Heater

The Vegmatics inline heater is constructed with a flexible inner tube and heating element that allow it to bend to fit in tight spaces or around corners. When properly bent It can easily twist up to 90 degrees without the risk of kinking.

Disclaimer: Vegmatics warranties that the supplied inline heater shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials for up to one year from the date of purchase. Nevertheless, heaters damaged or otherwise rendered non-functional due to modifications, including improper bending of the heater, cannot be returned or exchanged under warranty.

Step 1:
Grip the ends of the heater, and use your thumbs to apply pressure to begin bending. Bend the heater up to 30 degrees using this method - any more can kink the inner tube. Be careful not to apply pressure directly to the internal temperature switch (visible as a small bulge near where the pair of white wires come out) on temperature controlled models.

Step 2:
To create a sharper bend, use your thumbs to apply pressure to another area of the heater and bend up to 30 degrees there as well.  Be careful not to apply further pressure to your first bend.  Also be sure not to bend within about one inch of the hose barbs, as this could cause damage the inside of the tube.
